Groove Tots Gigs is welcoming Deborah Rose to Frome!

The stunning Deborah Rose is coming to Groove Tots Gigs! With an angelic voice, gorgeous lyrics and poems from a pre-Raphaelite Frome resident this is one not to miss. We are trying out a new format this month, so the gig will be ticketed (instead of by donation) on a Sunday morning with the cafe only open for concert-goers, so do come down and tell us what you think. Bring the family, enjoy high quality music for adults, grab a delicious coffee and cake, and get in the groove!

  • The Rye Bakery, Whittox Lane, BA11 3BZ
  • 15 October 10-11am
  • Tickets available on the door or book online to reserve a table: £5/adult, £1/child, £8/family

Hope to see you there!

Deborah Rose is a singer-songwriter from Wales and has sung in the company of Ralph McTell, Judy Collins, Fairport Convention and Jimmy Webb. She has performed on Terry Wogan’s Radio 2 for the 50th anniversary of late singer Eva Cassidy. Her first album, “Song be My Soul” is a collection of words set to music from Tennyson to Blake and features a Welsh Male Voice Choir. Deborah has a rare and timeless voice with a purity often likened to Sandy Denny or Joni Mitchell. She performs a wide range of celtic music, classics, and her own self penned songs that chronicle her travels, love of nature, and journeys of the soul. For this special occasion Deborah will also read a collection of children’s poems by the Pre-Raphaelite writer Christina Rossetti who once lived and ran a girls school in Frome in 1853. For more information visit Deborah’s website on www.deborahrose.co.uk
